The CWEE Internship System was originally developed for College of the Canyons. This advanced website allows businesses to register and post paid or unpaid internships for students that are still in college. Students can then apply directly online to an internship while faculty members can moderate internships and student applications from their very own control panel.

For Students

  • Search internships by Keyword, Internship ID, Major, Location, or Pay Status
  • Detailed information per internship (Pay Range, Location, Major, Semester, Hours per Week, Days per Week, Qualifications, etc.)
  • Apply to internships directly online with a simple form
  • Automatic email sent to student for further information and instructions

For Employers

  • Employers register an account with contact details and information about their company
  • Control Panel to post new or edit internships
  • View if Internships have been approved by faculty
  • Modify contact information

For Faculty

  • Activate / deactivate internships for students
  • One-click editing to modify internship details
  • Add notes to internships & student applications for other faculty members to view
  • View / modify / search employer contact information
  • Easily view new student applications with automatic flagging of potential errors in application
  • Category organization for student applications (new applications, pending employment, actual interns, etc.)
  • Easily process student applications with automatic emails sent to employer and student
  • Export data to Excel Spreadsheet
  • Send Mass Emails to employers or students
  • View detailed statistics of internships (by year, major, pay range, geopgrahical location, and semester)

Server Requirements

The CWEE Internship System can be installed on a server that supports PHP and MySQL. Ask your IT Department!
